Her thighs were still sticky from the incredible orgasm Tucker had given her, but having both men in close proximity for the first time since Jess’s wedding had Vivian’s libido revving back up in record time.

Her body knew what it wanted. The trouble was in her head. She was struggling to silence a nagging voice that sounded a lot like her mother. It was currently calling her a shameless disgrace to the family for even considering getting involved with two men at once, and it was getting louder with every step she took. She wanted them, there was no denying that. But every relationship she’d ever been in had turned into a complete train wreck. If this went sideways there’d be enough explosions and destruction that Michael Bay would have to direct the movie version.

By the time they reached the top of the stairs, tiny tendrils of doubt were starting to take hold, tearing away at the happiness she’d felt only minutes before. As they walked back into Tucker’s apartment, Byron spoke her name in a tender tone, tugging on her hand to draw her back against his chest. He wrapped his arms around her and held her, his breath tickling her ear as he nuzzled her hair.

Tucker turned around, dropping her clothes so he could cup a hand against her cheek. “It’s going to be fine,” he promised her. “I know you believe in fate, and so do we. I think this is supposed to happen.”

“Fate’s all fine and good, but what I’d like is a damned instruction manual,” she grumbled. “All I have to go on here are romance novels and the advice of my best friend, who happens to be incommunicado while on her honeymoon.”

Byron laughed and hugged her. “I think we can figure this out without a how-to guide.”

She wrinkled her nose at that. “Of course you do. You’re a man. Men never read instructions.”

“We’re going to have to try things out, and if something isn’t working, we all have to agree to speak up. None of us is the type to suffer in silence, so…” Byron blew across the shell of her ear and she shivered in response. “I think we need to see how this goes. Less talk, more do.”

“Less talk, more do?” Tucker repeated, shaking his head. “Man, we need to get you some new lines.”

“Lines are for single guys,” she pointed out. “If this is happening, then neither one of you is single anymore, and neither am I. Well, Tucker and I sort of worked that out earlier tonight, but now it applies to you too, Byron.”

“I’m good with that.” She could tell he was smiling by the tone of his voice.

“You should have seen Big Mike’s face. He tried to stop her from entering the bar and she got up in his grill and told him she was my girlfriend,” Tucker said with a grin and leaned in to kiss her. As their mouths met she could taste herself on his lips, and it was an erotic reminder of what they’d been doing not long ago.
